Diagnosis

Female flagellum with a two-segmented clava, male with all five flagellomeres distinctly separated; malar space narrow, 0.1X as wide of height of eye in female, 0.3X in male; reticulation on thoracic dorsum with comparatively larger meshes (as compared to K. bouceki); fore wing with a complete infuscate band medially.

Distribution

Costa Rica.

Biology

From Cecidomyiidae (species unknown) galls on Serjania mexicana (Sapindaceae).
