Diagnosis

Frontal suture present; head and mesosoma yellow; mesoscutum with strong reticulation, midlobe smooth and shiny in posterior one-half; scutellum with strong reticulation, medioposterior one-third smooth and shiny; ratio FM/HM = 1.0. Similar to simiscapus but with shape of scape different (possibly also with other differences but these are not detectable because of missing parts in the single known specimen of chapadae).
